Yandex co-founder Volozh bids farewell to company’s staff

MOSCOW, Dec 30 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet company Yandex co-founder Arkady Volozh has told the company’s staff about his leaving in a New Year letter, according to information seen by PRIME on Friday.

“It is time I have written a good-buy post (on the company’s internal portal). As you know I have not managed Russia’s Yandex for a long time, this year I had to leave all positions in the company,” Volozh said.

He added that the ongoing plan of the company’s restructuring is quite wise and necessary in the current conditions.

Yandex’s Dutch parent company Yandex N.V. is considering separating the main business into an individual Russian group of companies and plans to withdraw from its shareholders later.
